Alchemy Gothic are The Original Revivalists TM: Anno 1977. All Alchemy Gothic products are conceived and designed in England by The Alchemy Carta, and all pewter products are made in England in the Alchemy workshops, by Alchemy's own hand-craftsmen. All products and designs are the exclusive copyright of The Alchemy Carta, England, and are registered designs and trademarks world-wide. The metal used in the manufacture of Alchemy Gothic pewter products is the highest grade, 92% tin alloy, (to BSS5140) standard, known as "English Pewter". Some manufactures misleadingly use the term 'pewter' to describe alloys containing lead. This results in inferior, more easily made products which are heavier, softer and of a dull colour, which are much more prone to tarnishing.

Looking after your Alchemy: Pewter may, like silver, tarnish, but can easily be polished up to a brilliant lustrous shine, using a brass or silver polishing wad and a wipe with a dry cloth. DO NOT put pewter into a salt-loaded dishwasher, which could corrode a polished surface.
